2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year Elorm
Adablah, known in showbiz circles as EL, is lyrical wonder, dancehall
musician MzVee has said.
MzVee, who is out with her latest single titled ‘Make I Shine’ featuring
EL, was full of praise for the ‘Mi Naa Bo Po’ hitmaker on Entertainment
Capital on Accra 100.5FM on Saturday July 30.
Asked who her top three favourite rappers in Ghana were, the 2016 BET
Award nominee told host DJ Premier that: “I can mention just one and
that is EL because I have made music with him and I think he is awesome.
He is just lyrically on point, I think he is amazing.”
In May this year, EL shrugged off competition from Sarkodie, Stonebwoy,
Bisa Kdei, VVIP and Superintendent Kofi Sarpong to scoop the VGMA
Artiste of the Year award.
EL is known for hit songs like Obuu Mo, One Ghana, Kaalu, Mame Wossop, Auntie Martha, and others.
The multiple award winner, who is also a sound engineer, has produced
hit songs for many elite hip hop, hiplife, and R&B performers such
as Sarkodie (You Go Kill Me and Dangerous), D-Black (Get On The Dance
Floor), Reggie Rockstone (Rockstone's Office), Asem (Check Your Weight),
Geelex (Bend Your Body) and many more.
